Cristaux Retinol Serum Skin Repair 30ml

How to use:

Notes:

• It can take time for your skin to get used to a retinoid. Start using Cristaux Retinol Serum Skin Repair Serum by applying it twice a week. As your skin adjusts, you can work your way up to using it nightly. If your skin gets red, dry, or flaky, you may be moving too fast. 

  Try using it less often until these side effects resolve, and then increase slowly. Once you’re comfortable with nightly use, you can consider increasing the strength.

• For those with sensitive skin, it's best to apply moisturizer before using retinol. This helps create a protective barrier and minimizes the potential for irritation.
• If you have normal skin, you can start with retinol followed by other serums or moisturizers. This allows the retinol to penetrate the skin effectively while still reaping the benefits of additional skincare products.
• As a rule of thumb, serums must be applied to a freshly cleaned and toned face.
• Cristaux Retinol Serum Skin Repair is best used with the following products:
  

Morning Routine:

1. Wash face using Jeune Mild Cleanser (for best results, leave on for at least 30 seconds).
2. Optional: Wash face using Papaine Soap.
3. Use any of the following Toners: Day & Night Toner / Blanc Toner / Glycolic Toner.
4. Apply Cristaux Vitamin C Serum.
5. Once the first serum is fully absorbed, apply Cristaux Zerum Hydra-Beauty Skin Brightening Serum.
6. Once the second serum is fully absorbed, apply Cristaux Supreme Serum.
7. Optional: Apply the Eye Balm D'or for under eye puffiness and dark circles.
8. Apply your choice of sunscreen: Day Cream / Moisturizing Sunscreen / Tinted Sunscreen.

Night Routine without Retinol:

1. Remove makeup / cleanse face using Blanc Cleansing Pads.
2. Wash face using Jeune Mild Cleanser (for best results, leave on for at least 30 seconds).
3. Optional: Wash face using Papaine Soap.
4. Use any of the following Toners: Day & Night Toner / Blanc Toner / Glycolic Toner.
5. Apply Cristaux Zerum Hydra-Beauty Skin Brightening Serum.
6. If you are using the Beaute Set, proceed with Night Cream 1, 2, and then 3.
7. If you are using the Blanc Set, proceed with Acne Banishing Cream, and then Nourishing Cream.
8. Optional: Apply the Eye Balm D'or for under eye puffiness and dark circles.

Night Routine with Retinol:

Ingredients:

Deionized Aqua, Niacinamide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Elastin, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Leaf Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Zinc Oxide, Butylene Glycol, Triethanolamine, Arbutin, Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Fragrance, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol

Reminders:

• Do a skin patch test (inner forearm) and leave on for 24-48 hours. If there is no irritation, you may proceed to use the serum on your face.
• If severe irritation occurs, discontinue use.
• Temporary redness of skin for the first 1-2 weeks of use.
• You may also experience the following: prickly sensation, itchiness, purging, peeling, and darkening of skin. This is normal skin reaction due to the resurfacing of dead skin cells.
• Retinoids increase your skin’s sensitivity. It’s best to stop using them for 5 to 7 days before waxes, peels, lasers, and other facial procedures.
• Retinoids make your skin more sensitive to burning, even if you only apply it at night. Avoid tanning beds. Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily. It should be SPF 30 or higher and cover UVA and UVB rays. Reapply frequently when outside. 
• Cristaux Retinol Serum can be used from age 20 and up.
• Do not use retinoids if you are pregnant.
• Please DO NOT use other products while using Beautederm.
• Keep refrigerated (Toner and Creams).
